(135,425 posts)I won't "yeesh" at your tattoos if you don't "yeesh" at the wallpaper that my ancestors picked out, that's still holding up very nicely because it's expensive stuff and we haven't abused it.
I sit on the sofa my great grandfather took a rest on --it's been recovered and repaired a few times, because it's a helluva piece of old furniture. I eat at at the table my great aunts sat at, another amazing piece of very old and solid furniture. Needlepoints from long-dead ancestors hang on my walls.
We don't throw shit out, we're thrifty.
To each their own. You don't have to like my wallpaper or furnishings, and I don't have to care about, or 'like' your tattoos ... or the tattoos of the youngsters in my family. They're yours, and theirs--presumably gotten because they pleased YOU and THEM--not for me to comment about them.
Live and let live.
