In reply to the discussion: Check in if you're sick of Boehner and his fucking "Conversation" shit. [View all]tonybgood
(218 posts)130. Unfortunately, targeting Boehner's District won't work.
How do I know? I live in his district. He's my representative. He ran in the last election WITH NO DEMOCRATIC OPPOSITION!!! That's right, he basically ran unopposed in the last election. His district (8th Ohio) is not only heavily gerrymandered, it's heavily Republican. Do some research and look up who was this area's representative before Boehner and you'll understand why it's impossible to get him out. The only way he loses his seat is to lose a GOP primary and the only way that happens is to get an even more Tea Party representative. You might get rid of him as Speaker of the House, but he'll have his congressional seat for as long as the GOP party bosses in Ohio want him to have it.

OP
Apparently "negotiation" didn't poll test well, so they went to "conversation" as the meme.

Inelegant, but effective. The DNC is targeting his seat, plus 5 other elephants of the apocalypse:

More political theatre. Most likely, this is a set-up for a TRULY HORRIBLE "Grand Compromise."
