(1,486 posts)45. If rethugs are so concerned about the debt
they need to raise revenue. If they balance the budget by increasing revenue to match the money they have already spent on wars and past tax cuts the debt ceiling would not be a problem. I guess that would be too simple. Bush started with Clinton's surplus but couldn't stand it and here we are.
Too much to ask I guess...........
