The danger is the usual: the misguided belief that there is no difference between the two parties or the two sets of incumbents. It serves the GOP to let that fester, because it ensures that the pain is spread to the Democrats, and we end up losing valuable people who are on our side (and that includes the Blue Dogs who come from red districts).

GOTV 2014, make sure there's really targeted advertising, and with some luck we can regain the House for the Democrats and not lose any more seats in the Senate.
