9. Is it me or are they becoming a cult?

I was raised Baptist, you know back when they were normal in the 80's. As I became a teenager, they were getting stricter and and more intolerant. As the 90's came and went they had become hardened in their intolerance for some and militant in their views that more closely resembled hate mongers than followers of Jesus. Then sometime in the late 90's they deviated from a religion with some unpopular views and became a political faction (in my eyes). I was completely done with them and becoming completely done with anyone who followed them.

Now, can you not call them a group of radical fundamentalists who rival some radical Middle Eastern religious followers in their violent intolerance. We've seen some of those in their ranks commit murder in houses of worship (Dr Tiller's murder). How long before they start strapping suicide vests on and blow themselves up for their cause? (I might be sarcastic, and I might not).

These radical fundamentalists are not the ones I grew up with. They can have their religion, I'm out.
