Post #3 and #5 might not back that up.

As one of the longest standing successful cars for sale, I'm sure that Porsche shares your concern. What, 50 years? Rubbish. Only slightly longer than the Mustang. Only a decade shy of the Corvette. But yeah, you run with that. But then as a massive car person, you knew that.
