5. I like the emphasis on ALEC

and would like to see Occupy challenge and bring to life the whole lobbyist culture in D.C. A lot of big firms need to be mentioned for what they do to our country every day. Many of them represent foreign countries that do not have our security or interests at heart.

The Abramoff interviews and book could throw some light on this. I don't think that his experiences and what they mean about what is going on in D.C. and our local and state governments was adequately investigated or discussed in the media. The treatment of his story was rather superficial. And I understood him to state that he did not tell his whole story or name all the names that he knew. I may be wrong about that, but as I recall that is what he said.
