10. Right now, their insurance is subsidized and pre-tax

Going onto the exchanges, there is no subsidy and the premiums are after-tax dollars. I'll go out on a limb here, but guessing their insurance is much better than what is offered on the exchanges. I know mine is, and my employer only has 3,000 employees - not the same ballpark as the contracts for the federal government employee base.
