Sometimes I just wanna throw up my hands - I can think of so many things I would LOVE if they said! Not just my ideas either but a lot of progressive and liberal talking points. Some people here are just simply freakin' BRILLIANT in that regard!!!! I get all kinds of ideas from reading the posts here.

I actually went to a state party convention as a volunteer, and I brought a stack of small notes on which I'd written a number of talking points and bumper-sticker points and slogans and stuff that might help. Passed 'em out as much as I could, to anyone who's take 'em. Most people didn't seem that interested, however.

Oh well - we ALL should keep at it!

One good experience, though: during the bush/cheney blight, I called in (as I often do) to various congresscritters' and senators' offices. Not just mine. And equally among my team and the opposition. During one call - to some Democrat's office - I started complaining about the lies that contradicta rice was allowed to spew that I didn't think were being rebutted strongly enough. The young dude who took my call stopped me and said - "contradicta! Oh I LOVE that one! Somebody called that in here the other day! It's GREAT!" And I said "wow - thanks! That was mine. I made that one up!" And then he responded - "that was you? It's just awesome! We LOVE that one! That one's all over the Hill now!"
