And in the Senate the republicans were obstructing everything and we needed 60 yes votes for cloture and we did NOT have 60 democratic senators for very long - only for 72 but if you take out the holiday recesses then it was only 20+ days.

The article on the link below states we had a super majority 72 for days (but it was really less than that) see the comment down below under the article...
