Ted Cruz is one Senator. He is in the minority of the minority in the Senate and has no power over anyone in the house that they do not willingly give him by following him.

It's too easy to lay this at one dudes feet, however much of a psychotic asshat he is.

Boehner is choosing not to bring a clean deal to the floor.
The "moderate" republicans are choosing not to demand that a clean vote be brought to the floor.

Ted Cruz is in the Senate which has passed a clean bill.

This effort to find just one scapegoat so that others can distance themselves from him and act like they were not essentially doing the same thing (worse if they are someone who actually has a vote in the House which is causing this issue) is pathetic and I hope we don't continue to aid in that effort.
