BACKLASH! When you are portrayed in Movies and Used on TV as Idiot Doofuses...(they look for that when they cast Game Shows, Reality Shows and the Nightly News for the latest Murders, Rapes and Downtrodden Victims) yet how many Politicians and Others in High Esteem can SHUT DOWN the CRAP THEY DO! Gets a sound byte on Nightly News and then the High Priced Lawyers or their Donors from the RW or even sometimes Left Wing come in and shut it down or send their PR people out to do the DEFENSE.

Crap Society... Just hire a "Spin Doctor" if you have the Big Bucks and make the payments for Lawyer by appearing on Faux News or MSM if it's a really big scandal and get your Hours of Fame...and then the story disappears off into Litigation.

FAME AND GLORY! If you make it...you can pay the Legal Bills...and if you don't you are gone from your 15 Minutes of Fame.

Simplistic...but for the most part it's the way it works these days.
