a false, false equivalency post.

it wasn't the Democrats that wanted government to shut down, nor government employees to be sent home from work.

it was the Republicans, not all of them, but it was their caucus that created this mess.

this "pox on both their houses" is tiresome.

the furloughed workers know who put them out of their offices and buildings and who was content to let the essential among them work without pay.

any citizen paying attention knows which party was at most willing to raise the debt ceiling and let the government shutdown continue.

who insisted that we pay our debt and open the government without condition?

EVERY ELECTED DEMOCRAT IN OUR GOVERNMENT AND OUR PRESIDENT.

not the Republicans.

both sides fault my ass. but the "best post in the thread" is not going to give Obama any credit.
