It isn't just the South. I live in Western NY and am surrounded by the Tea Pukers. There are also some who are hightly educated. That unfortunately is not a safe guard against racism, greed and willful ignorance. I say willful because they chose to over look the logic and facts because it doesn't fit their own narrative.

The one's who get me are the one's who will go out of the way to say they are not racist then they start ranting that Obama was born in Kenya and how he is secretly Muslim. I think there is are elements in the TP that are just crazy and misguided and others who have been brainwashed by Fox, and still others who are just plain racist and greedy but your right it is not just a Southern Thing.
