(45,984 posts)I've seen an awful lot of conspiracy theories about the assassination, none of them as good as the Warren Report, which has a few holes in it. Nevertheless, I have held to the lone gunman (moreover, one named Oswald) theory since November 22, 1963. BTW, I had just turned 12 and learned about the shooting at 11 am PST in room 14 of the El Dorado Elementary School in Stockton, California from Mr. Frank Chance, my sixth grade teacher. I don't know what Bush the Preppy was doing that claims not to remember where he was when he heard about the shooting, but he's the only person I've ever heard of who doesn't remember. That doesn't mean he had anything to do with the assassination. Perhaps he was fucking his mistress and still doesn't want Babs to know about it.
In any case, if further investigation confirms a second gunman, then there was a second gunman. Who was he is still something we don't know and there is no reason yet to conclude that any conspiracy extended beyond Oswald and the still unknown second gunman. I still hold that any grand conspiracy theory involving the CIA, Cuban Communists or the Mafia is ridiculous on it face.
