This is worth a pile of gold if you ask me:
"We need to be cognizant of those who fight the good fight as the under-dog in their communities when it comes to politics. It's damn hard to keep going much less keep others involved AND try to grow your membership in such territory and those who do so deserve much recognition and praise."
And we had progressive candidates in '08, got them in office and they conveniently forgot they were even Democrats so they could stay in office (and they don't get votes from Republicans anyway so I've never understood that tactic). They read their districts and state wrong and kept on using old school southern politickin and we were floored as we watched it. So yeah, to be exactly the Democrat that you've described here, have that horror happen after all of our hard work is bad enough. Then to have the constant scab picking in this Democratic Forum is even worse.
