We can agree to disagree here. But I will say Maher is the comedic host of a show that mixes comedy with politics. It's not all politics. He even does short comedic skits on the show, further evidence Maher's role has a strong comedic purpose on the show. I regard him as sort of like the ringmaster who has special powers and can move in and out of comedy and commentary and, like any stand up show, if some people don't get the joke, tough.

Limbaugh does not purport to be a comedian. Maher is a PROFESSIONAL comedian.

Lastly, it is clear Rush was being serious with his latest comments because he went in to details, almost examining the situation.

A comedian throwing the c word out there (as any derogatory word), with all due respect to the ladies (and I am sensitive about this under any other context) is practically a comedic time honored tradition.
