I didn't know you were in Sonoma.
I mentioned that southwest Santa Rosa was a predominantly Latino part of town. But that may not tell the whole story to those who live out of state. Southwest SR isn't Oakland or Richmond or South Central LA. Socioeconomically speaking, it's primarily poor and Latino. There's some gang activity that takes place there. There are a lot of illegal grows in that area too. But it's not a place where someone gets shot every week. It's not a place where the pizza delivery people and cops refuse to go. It's a poor working class neighborhood, but I'm guessing it's not even in the top 50 most dangerous neighborhoods in CA, wherever those may be. It's not a place where police need to fear for their safety as a matter of course.
