And mentioned that Glide Church did provide me with needed sustenence. I'm just putting out there my personal spiritual point of view, which includes much of, organized christianity. I have been subject to extremes of NON-empathy by that faith, and not implying or lumping all followers into that category. I'm taking it your beliefs don't condone those of the Westboro bunch, do they? I feel the truly personal followers of christ, who aren't prone to bigotry, who leave judgement up to christ, aren't so bad.
But don't misconstrue my extremely torrid experiences with many who call themselves christian as blanket bigotry towards them. I know some nuns who have helped me heal from that tendency. They are true to their vows, and that is fine. I wouldn't even pretend to judge you personally, but your faith system in general does have certain flaws that leave some children out in the cold, literally.
