16. Well, it didn't matter what he said, precisely, really.

It just mattered that when anyone now reads "former senior administration official" talking on NSA or other security issues in the paper, that they think of Blabbermouth Hayden and how he's still prostituting himself for a bit o' covert glory.

We know two things we didn't know before--Hayden's a Bigmouth, first, and he's probably the source of a lot of the nasty "security related" insults directed at POTUS that we read on background, second...and now everyone knows it! Hayden got a great big pie in the face, courtesy of an environmental activist who used to work at MoveOn.Org! Hayden can downplay what happened, or he can harrumph all the live long day, but he's busted as a "Chatty Cathy" and people will regard him as both gossipy and intemperate. Want something to get leaked to the press? Tell Hotlips Hayden! Shhh, stop talking, here comes Hayden, he can't be trusted to keep a secret!!!
