Ted Cruz's name came up in a similar vein there. He's not gay, near as I can tell.

I can see a number of jokes, totally--having nothing to do with orientation. Sad sack, lying sack, take your pick.

Trying to make that kind of "you're anti-gay" accusation--without ANY proof, in fact, with proof to the contrary staring you right in the face-- is a bridge too far, IMO.

It is an OBVIOUS and blatant attempt to get a poster who supports equality a "Hide" with some faux outrage.

The doubling down, too, with insistent repeated carping (you will take my point!!!), is disruptive. No one here thinks msanthrope is homophobic or anti-gay in any way, and making that suggestion is what is offensive, not silly little jokes about meat and veg.
