far right taking hold. She was always a republican but republicans didn't used to be the way they are now. And I think that her and my dad were mostly concerned about taxes because they were in a very high bracket.

She used to listen to Fox news but has stopped I think because I gave her that study that found Fox news viewers the least informed of any. And in Jersey the radio was filled with Limbaugh and others and even I used to listen to them because there was nothing else on.

Her friends are all like her. She has one friend that mails her the most awful crap you could believe. And I remember a couple who was their friends a long time ago, (and still now) went into NY with them and the man saw a bind man with a cup on the subway and started mimicking him to the point where some lady got real upset and started telling him how he was going to Hell. He thought it was funny! I remember thinking how cruel it was. At that time neither of my parents would have ever behaved that way.
