Men need to find more civilized ways to express their disdain for women with whom they disagree. What Mahr said isn't one whit more acceptible because "he's a comedian" or "she's a public figure" or "I detest everything she stands for".

I hold no double standard here. Either Limbaugh was wrong to say what he said, and Mahr (and Schultz and Olbermann, both of whom I've also heard quoted today making similarly contexted comments about conservative women) are also wrong, or none of them are wrong.

And so it doesn't go out of context, women should also find more civil ways of referring to men whom they dislike.......or it should be a free-for-all for men and women and the Left and the Right etc. You may want it both ways, but that rarely works out. Sorry.
