My lesbian daughter KNOWS what it is like to be discriminated against and treated like a second class citizen. Her straight sister doesn't. She hasn't experienced discrimination like her sister, but if these sexist pigs like Rush and Santorum and their religious leaders like Dolan have their way, she WILL. I fought this fight YEARS before she or her sister were born. I am STILL fighting for her lesbian sister to have HER civil rights. Now I have to fight too for my straight daughter and all her straight sisters for their rights? How many times do I have to fight this, ALL ALONE. I will fight, but I want SUPPORT. My dear daughter, just being a straight, MARRIED, female doesn't mean that they will leave YOU alone. Don't dismiss what I fought so hard for you to attain when I was a young woman myself. They WILL discriminate against YOU just as much as your gay sister. You are both FEMALE and that alone will be enough for the sexist, religious MEN to make you too a second class citizen.
Sorry, if I am starting too many threads on this lately, but I am a mother and they are attacking BOTH my children.
