Battleground Texas is already forcing TX GOP to react rather than act as Texas Republican Party Chair Steve Munisteri sounded the alarm on the group, e.g. ,"They'll make millions of phone calls to urge [potential Democrats] to attack conservatives and become more active in the political process." And Wendy Davis has (at the moment) higher spot polling numbers than Perry or potential rival Greg Abbott.

Cruz is single-handedly reducing support for the GOP brand in Texas amognst anyone but his core base, and Battleground Texas is energizing the one thing in Texas that scares the GOP the most-- registering new voters.

Sure it's an uphill battle, but it's not a lock anymore.

However, I'm quite sure you have faith in your "sources".
