Trickier, but still easily delt with, is the philisophical question of whether god is necessary to give ethical decisions objective meaning. Sadly, for the theist at any rate, unless you are stipuating the possibility of human existance extending beyond the death of our species or the heat death of the universe, the answer remains that god is unnecessary.
