We have had only a few children come for trick and treat, mostly in the early years when more young kids lived around us. I think it has been five years since we had any trick or treaters. I still get a few bags of candy just in case.

You are wondering why they don't come here. We live up on a hill and they don't want to climb the steps to get up to our house. Our neighborhood is hilly, so lots of walking involved. Guess the kids go to neighborhoods with more houses and easier walking. If know if I was a kid, I wouldn't treat or treat around here, too much effort.

Now this is a great place for a Halloween party, and we have had them before, real blowouts, topped by a midnight visit to the old cemetery down the road.
