One of Kievs most well-known subway stops, this station was named after the Golden Gates historical structure.
Designed by a series of architects, Boris and his son Vadim Zhezherin, as well as the artistic architects S.Adamenko and M.Ralko, are responsible for the stations actual construction.This opulent station has granite floors, large chandeliers with candles-shape light bulbs, columns made of white marble, as well as mosaic art by artists G. Koren and V. Fedko, rounding out the top 5 most beautiful subway stops list.
