9. Being self-righteous doesn't win you friends

I have 10k in debt and CAN'T pay it because of an employer who illegally fired me back in 2008 and I have YET to find ANYTHING that I can even BEGIN to make payments on it.

The debt is close to 15 years old.

And, by the way, I WORKED my way through undergraduate and graduate school but incurred debt when I had to when I student taught (no working outside jobs allowed). A few years I taught only to be illegally fired.
