There's a picture of Sarah Palin next to the word "hubris" in the dictionary. Palin believes the world revolves around her, so it's possible that she'll try it--and, since a lot of us here believe the GOP will have to resort to a brokered convention to get their nominee, Palin (along with a few other Repukes who won't run in the 2012 primaries, namely Jeb Bush) might try a "white knight" tactic to gain the nomination.

The problem is, Palin is kinda like Mo Rutherford in "The Stuff": no one is as dumb as she appears to be. Because she's not as stupid as she looks, she's got to know that a presidential election campaign, with its throngs of reporters, will destroy her.

And let's get down to brass tacks: will the Republican base really rally around a candidate whose oldest daughter is an unwed mother?
