In re the LAX shooter snip this afternoon on your show. You're not a psychiatrist, MD or psychologist. Whatever factors fueled the shooter's anger and paranoia are best determined by professionals.

Speaking as a layman, the "voices in his head" may well have been incessant RW talk radio stuff. The trigger may well have been some recent personal event. Or some other set of factors.

I don't know and I'm not the one to make the assessments.

Your glib comment doesn't serve the needs of the mentally ill, the public at large or address the real lack of comprehensive mental health services.
