48. Ask Yourself... WHY Do Significantly More People Vote In Presidential Elections ???

I hate this next theory... but it's because it's both important and cool.

American voters have been blowing off local, statewide, and "off-year" elections, EVERY TIME since I have voted in my lifetime, starting in 1974.

I vote every time, but then I like to think I'm politically aware and invested in the outcomes.

Yet most of our fellow citizens do not feel that way... until it's the Presidency...

And even THEN, we are lucky to get half of the voting-age public to show up.

You have to convey to those less involved in politics WHY they should give a damn.

Pointing out to the young, minorities, LGBT, women, etc... WHY the off years are just as important to their lives as the Presidential years... is step one.

Well funded ads, with the right people speaking to them, could aid in that venture.
