Woman saves rude Crystal River driver, daughter from burning car [View all]
CRYSTAL RIVER — A charred spot on a stretch of W Ozello Trail in Crystal River marks the spot where a mother and her daughter escaped a burning car with the help of a good Samaritan.
Kristyn Dominy was heading home with her baby Monday evening when a woman sped erratically past her along the winding road.
"She did flip me off whenever she passed me," Dominy said.
Dominy, 22, said she noticed black smoke coming from the woman's Jeep, and when she turned another corner she saw the woman's car in flames among some burning trees.
