14. my late husband john was 64 when

he died of a brain tumor. he was still considered very valuable at work and probably would have worked until he was 70 or older. he loved what he did. he used to say "i can't believe they pay me for this".

my sister in law is 62 and runs the cardiac department at memorial sloan kettering. she also teaches part time. she has no intention of retiring.
