There are clearly reading comprehension issues here. He said the costume wasn't funny. In the story in the OP, he chose to express outrage over the costume rather than rape and death threats against a woman. I used his very words to point out the contrast between a costume and threats of rape and murder. I did not change the meaning of the word funny. My posts conveyed dismay (veiled disgust) that anyone could read that story and consider the costume the more egregious offense, but then I've read enough from that member to know his views of women.

Your decision that the most important point to make here was a defense of Quinnox's posts tells me what your values are. So as inane as this discussion has been, I at least learned something.
