(19,926 posts)161. That's not a put down, it's the truth. If you A/B vinyl and digital cd you will hear the difference.
That being said, I don't keep up with vinyl. I prefer the longevity and ease of CDs, and lower cost too. Nothing wrong with FLAC though, as it's lossless even though it is compressed.
I do have some mp3 albums since they were so cheap to buy. I got a new release that's one of my current fave's for only $2.99. But if the CD is the same price or close to it I'll buy that instead and either flacify it or mp3 it depending on where I'm going to play/put it.
