Why do you hate Apple products?

182. I am not relating his conduct to buying Apple products.

It's just a point of information, and it is reflective of the guy's lack of character...IMO. That probably was the reason why he thought putting up suicide nets was a better plan than "better pay/fewer hours" for workers.

Also, I have been brought along on the PC paradigm, and I'm old. What's hard to some people is easier for me. The few times I've used Apple stuff, I haven't been wow'ed. And for those prices, I need a little wow.

I really don't like Apple products, though, because they are overpriced and most of the people I know who own them are pretentious assholes, which serves to not recommend them to me.

Now, before anyone yells at me, I recognize that there may be--in fact, there most likely ARE-- people who are NOT pretentious assholes who own Apple products, and I may even know an acquaintance or two who doesn't fit into the pretentious asshole category, but the people I know who drone on and on about how wonderful their Apple products are and who wave them about like I should be impressed....well, they are pretentious assholes, intent on acquiring and displaying the "latest" thing; I say "Aww, to hell with that stupidity" as I wave around my twenty dollar prepaid tracfone that I can take pictures with!

If I get robbed in the subway, someone is gonna get a few bucks and a tracfone that I can get the minutes back off of with a cheap replacement phone and a phone call. I don't lose a piece of equipment worth hundreds of dollars.

For people who like them, more power to them. I think it's more money than I want to spend.
