They couldn't break into the corporate world because PC's, from the get go in the 80's, were business friendly.
I don't think there is really too much difference between the products. I have used apple products but I have so much invested in Window based programs that it would be foolish at this stage of my life to chase after the next big thing.
I leave that part of capitalism to people who are still busy defining themselves.
I bought Mrs. WCGreen and I-Pod for Christmas and she loves it.
I have a freind that has to have the newest thing NOW and he is about ten years younger than I am. I think once you get into your fifties, you kind of look around and weigh all the issues before you buy something.
Most of the things I see people using computers for on the Tube are so far removed from my life it's like they are a different species, like humans 1.2...
I can do everything I want on the two lap tops I have and I still use my desktop that I bought back in 2004. I use ti design stuff with Pagemaker and still use it now and then.
