29. The Left is far tougher than the sensible people. They do swing at the Left but rarely land a punch

If it weren't for the Left imagine what this country would look like. For one thing, we are always right. So we get to say 'I told so' more than anyone else.

Secondly a majority of the people agree with the Left on major issues. That is what scares all those sensible people. They know that if the people ever got a chance to actualy choose their futures they would choose what the Left stands for. They also know the way they can keep their power is buy it.

Every once in a while history shows that the greedy and the powerful get TOO greedy. And when that happens, the people begin to pay attention, apathy turns to action and the people realize that they have the numbers and the power, if they choose to use it. When things are going okay, people become apathetic. If the sensible people were smart, they keep things going along smoothly for the masses but they can't control their greed. They can never have enough so it is inevitable that the more they manage to hoard, they more they want.

I'm not sure we have reached the critical point yet where the people wake up, but I do believe it is beginning to happen.
