The Affordable Care Act, however, is pretty darn cool.
BUT since Obamacare is so terrible, I agree with the proposal put forth by SoCalDem in this thread http://www.democraticunderground.com/10024030808 that we just allow anyone who wants to buy into Medicare instead of going through the insurance companies be allowed to do so.
Brilliant idea! Down with Obamacare! Up with Medicare for Everyone!!!
Oh, is that kind of like the "single payer" that the rest of the world has?
Who knew? When the Republicans are right about something - "Obamacare implementation is just Terrible!" - that an opportunity to FIX IT with a BETTER PLAN could be offered instead?
Okay, Democrats in Power - GET RIGHT ON THAT, PLEASE!!!
