In reply to the discussion: Why did so many #GunBullies need assault weapons to protest a lunch mtg of 4 @MomsDemand members in [View all]clffrdjk
(905 posts)87. I have you beat on both sides here.
Side one, once again this is no simple majority you are claiming, this is 86% support vs at most 14% I can't think of any other thing that has overcome such a large opposition in such short time. I don't care how much bribe money you have that is one hell of a mountain to climb. But yet it was done, how?
Side two, if the NRA and other pro gunners have the power to overcome that kind of mountain why do we have so many anti-gun laws, why haven't their goals been met?
Your poll is wrong, you have nothing to support it with, it is time to admit that.

That large group of openly carrying gun owners was there to intimidate. Period.

No, but there is not a politician alive that wouldn't vote with 86% of the population

So that's your argument, it has to be inaccurate because a vocal minority never gets what it wants?

So again, your insanely dim-witted argument is that congress always does what the public wants.

Because cowards need a blanky. They have no courage so a totem is their courage.
