2. The "fix" is voluntary for the insurance companies.

It would be interesting, if companies that decide not to continue offering the old plans, have to contact all of their clients and include the information about their current, non-compliant plans as compared to the ACA's mandated benefits.

One problem with many of the recent comments from individuals complaining about policy cancellations is that they do not seem to have a good grasp of their old coverage---just how cheap it was.
