Would a televised debate on the issue of healthcare be something that could help the healthcare law [View all]

Remember when they were trying to pass NAFTA and in order to save it, Al Gore decided to debate Ross Perot on the issue?

This ended up saving NAFTA. Would a similar event be helpful for Obamacare. Perhaps President Obama can debate Ted Cruz on this issue. This might make things better for the healthcare law and stop making the Democrats in Congress so scared and willing to give up.
