(10,893 posts)It's not so much that she's stupid. The GOP's strategy to go after the Black vote is to try and scare us into thinking the Democrats are evil, but no person in their right mind is going to fall for it.
Black folks overall have always overwhelmingly chosen the more liberal candidate in a presidential election.
As always, conservatives use fear in order to get ahead. For example, they love to bring up the Southern Dixiecrats of yesteryear, and how Lincoln supposedly wanted to free to slaves...but on the contrary, he didn't even consider Blacks and Whites equal. He simply did it as an attempt to get more votes. And if you take a look at the stances the D's stand for vs the R's nowadays, they're closer to being the party that wants to take us back to prior Civil Rights.
As I affectionately say, a Black person (or any minority, for that matter) voting for a Republican today is akin to a chicken's vote for Colonel Sanders for president.
