might as well be owned outright by the oil/gas industry. Most of the online version is now behind a paywall; the only parts not behind the paywall are the oil/gas pages, articles singing the praises of fracking and frackers, and opinion pieces that glorify fossil fuels. And obits. It's pretty much become the PR organ of the extractive industries, any resemblance to the newspapers I grew up with has long ago disappeared. They do occasionally endorse a non-republican, but it's damned rare.
