I have been to many of her appearances over the years. It's funny that Parker would say that Warren does what Bill does because Bill's best pupil is Hillary. She talks to people offstage, signs autographs and poses for pics for as many people as want them. She usually only leaves when an aide whispers that it's time to go.
I'm sick and tired of the caricature of both Clintons as described by the media vultures and on this board by too many.
I'll give one little example of what they do on a regular basis. Last year someone I know who lives in their town was helped by both Clintons. These people are Pakistani and had to go to Canada to receive their permanent US legal residency. The oldest son was not allowed back in the US. He had studied at Chappaqua high school and was just a regular "American" kid, but he was now over 18 years old. The parents tried for over 21 months to get his situation resolved. They were desperate enough that they even thought to move to Canada. The mother decided to write a letter to Bill Clinton. Although she had met both Clintons around town several times, she chickened out and didn't mail the letter. One Saturday morning she encounters Bill and his dogs outside a store. He was waiting for Hillary who was inside. She approached Bill and told him about her son's plight and the letter that she never mailed. He asked her where was the letter. She said in her car. He told her to go get it, that he would wait. When she returned with the letter Hillary (who at the time was still SOS) was with him. Bill asked her to retell her story to Hillary. She did and they promised to look into it. Two and a half weeks later I get a text from a friend, the mother had let her know that she was on her way to La Guardia to pick up her son. Thanks to both Clintons.
That's just one of many stories I have heard over the years. That's why I support them both, they are good people.
