(75,480 posts)35. Wages and/or income are not the same as wealth.
I would insist that it be illegal to accumulate more than a billion in wealth and I'm being generous. More wealth than that like the Koch Bros. and the Walton's have should be considered criminal. Many sinfully wealthy people actually don't take huge amounts in income. They accumulate assets in millions and billions instead that they use to spend to buy politicians, think tanks, religions, news outlets etc. to make them very powerful as well as rich.

Make it a ratio like the Swiss proposal, of 1/12, and include all options and bonuses.
