In reply to the discussion: Bernie Sanders Open To 2016 Presidential Run [View all]jeff47
(26,549 posts)58. I don't worry 'bout her too much
If this is actually an organized effort, she's going to lose badly. Inevitability was her schtick in 2008, and it failed. "Inevitable this time!" is not going to work well. It requires admitting that your central premise - inevitability - is utterly wrong.
If it isn't an organized effort, then it's about as dangerous as any other unorganized effort. The question becomes why "natural" supporters would all suddenly start posting this kind of stuff at the same time.

Good. He really is "not as bad" as the Repug or 3rd Way Dem candidates.

Probably not. But, he's still better than the usual 3rd Way "not as bad" candidates we get from

So, if the Dems want the votes that Sanders might get..they should run a leftist candidate.

That's because it's the label used by cowards unwilling to call themselves "liberal". (nt)

Obama won because he ran far to the left of Hill. Fact is, Americans are far to the left of Obama:)

DU's "centrists" hate Bernie more than any Republican. Why? He's an actual threat to their power.

He could win if Democrats didn't split the vote by voting for moderates.
