97. TMZ Not the Problem

I do not think the mix up had anything to do with TMZ. It seems that when George Zimmerman is involved information is constantly changing.

In the incident with his estranged wife two months ago most members of the news media were not sure what was going on and whether or not Zimmerman had actually had a gun that day. Shellie Zimmerman and Mark O' Mara claimed Zimmerman had his gun on him during the altercation. However, the police claimed they had not found a gun on Zimmerman.

In addition, most of the information provided by TMZ was accurate. As the information changed TMZ updated its website. That happens at just about every news agency. What happened with the TMZ website could have happened at any website and often does happen at the websites of news agencies. There are constantly correction written on websites and in print editions of news outlets.
