When working people aren't paid a living wage they can't contribute doodley squat to the economy. The rich need to loosen their white knuckle grip on their cash and start sharing the wealth a bit with their employees. But this won't happen voluntarily. The wonderful free hand of the market created this environment where workers are treated more like slaves than business associates. Did anyone really believe in trickle down?
